Celebrity provenance can add significant value to a car, and this month’s Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, AZ will feature more than a few vehicles with some added star power. Included among the celebrity-affiliated lots consigned to this year’s auction are Simon Cowell’s Bugatti Veyron, a Shelby-powered ’56 Ford pickup signed by Gene Simmons, Kobe Bryant’s ’63 Chevy Impala and a Hudson Commodore used in Driving Miss Daisy.
Those nostalgic for celebrities recently departed might also be interested in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (shown above) used by Paul Walker in the filming of 2 Fast 2 Furious, the ’86 Ferrari Testarossa roadster that starred alongside Michael Jackson in a Pepsi commercial and a ’72 Oldsmobile 442 previously owned by the late James Gandolfini. There’s even the Mojo speedboat Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx used in Miami Vice, complete with matching Hummer H2 and trailer. Check them out in the gallery above and the press release and videos below.
